Cocktail hour is where live jazz fits best. While guests find a drink and catch up, the band plays standards, bossa nova, and pop, soul and R&B songs in a jazz style. Think Fly Me to the Moon, The Girl from Ipanema and Isn't She Lovely.

Planning with the hotel
- Ask for an outlet. The band brings its own keyboard, amps and drums. The hotel just needs to give us space and a power outlet near where we play.
- Plan the timing. The band arrives about 45 to 60 minutes before the music starts, so share the timeline with your hotel contact.
- Coordinate with your DJ. The band uses the DJ's microphone for toasts and announcements, and the DJ takes over when dancing starts.
