Same band, new city
Dream City Jazz is part of Dream City Music, the company behind Dream City Strings. The jazz band built its sound in Milwaukee, playing dozens of Wisconsin weddings, galas and corporate events. In Colorado, the music comes from Colorado-based jazz players, with the same lineups and the same way of booking.
- Trio. Piano (keyboard), upright bass and drums. This is the signature lineup and the one we recommend.
- Duo. For example, piano and bass.
- Quartet. The trio plus a saxophone or trumpet.
- Vocalist. A jazz vocalist can join any lineup.
Not sure which to pick? Read trio, duo or quartet.
Planning a Colorado event with live jazz
- Shade outdoors. The band needs full shade, from a tent or a big leafy tree, plus a power outlet near the band. Outdoor events with a jazz band.
- Temperature and rain. We play best between about 55 and 92 degrees. Anything more than a drizzle and the music stops while we cover or pack the gear.
- Your DJ. We play the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and the DJ handles dancing. For toasts, we use the DJ's microphone.
- Book early. Spring and fall weekend dates go first.

What clients say
These two reviews are from Wisconsin weddings.
★★★★★“Great sound and amazing vibes, we got so many compliments on our cocktail hour music!”
★★★★★“It was amazing working with Dream City Jazz. From the first contact, to the pre-wedding meetings, to the day of, everything was easy and professional. Their performance and capabilities were great and set a perfect tone for the end of our ceremony and the cocktail reception. They were even willing to accommodate a move from outside to inside, mid-performance. All in all, they were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for jazz music for any occasion.”
