Meet the band behind Dream City Jazz
It started with a fan in the audience at a Milwaukee jazz club.
Dream City Jazz is led by Music Director Anthony Deutsch, the band's pianist, and Jared Judge, founder and Entertainment Director. Together they brought together top Milwaukee jazz musicians to bring a jazz-club feel to weddings and events.
How it started
Jared Judge first heard Anthony Deutsch's jazz trio at The Jazz Estate on Cramer Street in Milwaukee, and he became a fan.
A few months later, he heard the trio play their version of Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas album. Jared asked Anthony to become Music Director of Dream City Jazz, and Anthony said yes.
Together they brought together top Milwaukee jazz musicians, with one goal: bring the feel of a jazz club to weddings and events. That's the idea behind every booking, whether it's a cocktail hour at a museum or a corporate holiday party.

What the band brings to your event
The band dresses the part: suits and ties for the men, black dresses for the women. They bring their own keyboard, amps and drums, and arrive about 45 to 60 minutes before the music starts to set up.
The music runs from jazz standards and bossa nova to pop, soul and R&B songs in a jazz style. Think Take Five, The Way You Look Tonight, What a Wonderful World and Just the Two of Us. And yes, the band's holiday music includes Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas music, like Christmas Time Is Here.
