There was also a college's 100th anniversary gala in Pewaukee, a 60th birthday party in Elm Grove and a holiday party in Menomonee Falls.

What the band plays at a Wisconsin wedding

  • Ceremony. Live jazz for your ceremony. At one Delavan wedding, the band played the end of the ceremony and then the cocktail reception.
  • Cocktail hour. Standards, bossa nova and jazz versions of pop and soul songs while guests mingle. Cocktail hour jazz.
  • Dinner. Background sets through the meal. When dinner ends and dancing starts, the DJ takes over.

Planning strings for the ceremony? Our sister act, Dream City Strings, is a string quartet, and couples often book strings for the ceremony and jazz for cocktail hour.

What Wisconsin clients say

★★★★★

“It was amazing working with Dream City Jazz. From the first contact, to the pre-wedding meetings, to the day of, everything was easy and professional. Their performance and capabilities were great and set a perfect tone for the end of our ceremony and the cocktail reception. They were even willing to accommodate a move from outside to inside, mid-performance. All in all, they were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for jazz music for any occasion.”
